Journal of Clinical Question

In 2024, we published 20 articles, of which 13 (65%) were original research. Of the published articles, 11 (55%) originated from Japan, followed by contributions from China and the United States. 95% of submitted manuscripts received an initial editorial decision within 3 days. The overall acceptance rate was 55.6%. The median duration from submission to final decision was 46 days (interquartile range: 26, 74). Similarity checks were conducted for all submissions, with a median similarity index of 22% (interquartile range: 10% to 39%). The peer review process involved a median of 2 rounds (interquartile range: 2 to 3), and each manuscript was reviewed by a median of 2 reviewers (interquartile range: 2 to 3).
