Journal of Clinical Question
Advertising Policy
Overview
Gleam Publishing is committed to maintaining the integrity and credibility of its publications. To support this mission, we allow limited, editorially approved advertisements in our print and PDF publications only. We do not permit advertising on our digital platforms to ensure a distraction-free experience for readers.
Eligibility and Approval
All advertisements must receive editorial approval before publication. The editor-in-chief of the relevant journal has the authority to accept or reject ads based on their compliance with our standards.
To be considered for publication, advertisements must:
- Be relevant and aligned with the readership and subject matter of the publication.
- Be non-disruptive, clearly distinguishable from editorial content, and avoid overshadowing the primary material.
- Contain factually accurate claims supported by verifiable evidence.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including advertising standards, copyright, trademark, and privacy laws.
- Avoid conflicts of interest; ads from entities directly related to or influencing the content of our publications will not be accepted.
Platforms
Advertisements are permitted only in print and PDF versions of our publications. Advertising on digital platforms, including websites and HTML versions of articles, is not permitted to preserve editorial independence and reader experience.
Submission Process
Advertisers must submit ad content, format, and intended placement for review. Written approval is required before referencing Gleam Publishing, its journals, or products in any promotional material. Advertisers must also ensure that their identity is clearly displayed through a trademark, logo, or signature. Gleam Publishing reserves the right to accept, reject, or remove any advertisement at its sole discretion.
Disclosure and Placement
All approved advertisements will be clearly labeled as such to ensure transparency. The placement and frequency of ads are determined by Gleam Publishing based on editorial priorities and available space.
Separation from Editorial Content
Gleam Publishing maintains a strict separation between advertising and editorial content:
- Advertisers and sponsors have no advance knowledge of editorial material.
- Editors will not modify content to accommodate advertisers.
- Advertising sales representatives have no influence over editorial decisions.
Search Results Independence
Search results on Gleam Publishing platforms are not influenced by advertisers. Results are generated solely by software functionality and user-defined search criteria, ensuring objectivity and integrity.
Legal, Ethical, and Financial Terms
Advertisers and their agencies agree to indemnify Gleam Publishing against any claims or losses resulting from advertisement content, including libel, copyright violations, and privacy breaches.
In cases of non-payment, Gleam Publishing reserves the right to hold both advertisers and their agencies jointly liable. The publisher is not responsible for direct or consequential damages arising from advertising errors.
Additionally, the use of Gleam Publishing trademarks, logos, or links must receive prior written approval. Any unauthorized linking or promotional use is strictly prohibited.
Recruitment and Employment Advertising
Recruitment and employment advertisements must comply with all equal opportunity and non-discrimination laws. Ads should avoid bias based on gender, age, race, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics.
Employment ads must be truthful, transparent, and compliant with labor regulations, clearly stating job details and protecting applicant data.
Product and Data Compliance
Products promoted in advertisements must comply with regulations in the country of publication. Gleam Publishing does not share personally identifiable information of its readers with advertisers under any circumstances.
Policy Updates
Gleam Publishing reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time to align with its mission, values, and publishing standards.
